Health Readiness*

All individuals enrolled in the Foundation Training Instructor Certification Program must be in good health and capable of doing Foundation Training exercises.

Learning Expectations*

Foundation Training as a practice is designed for everyone. The FT Instructor Certification Program requires a deeper dive into anatomy, physiology, and related concepts of physical movement and rehabilitation.

Online Education as Prerequisite*

The online education portion is a required prerequisite for attending the in-person portion. If you do not complete all 6 modules by the mandatory Saturday Zoom Session the week before the in-person, you will not be able to attend.

Zoom Mentoring Sessions*

There will be 3 Zoom Mentoring Sessions each Saturday leading up to the in-person portion. Attendance is strongly suggested, but the final session 1 week before the in-person is mandatory, please plan accordingly.

Certification Requirements*

To become a certified Foundation Training Instructor you must complete all of the requirements. This includes the 6 module online portion, the 2-day in-person portion, 50 hours of student teaching, and successful skills test out with an FT Core Educator.

Certification Timeline*

You must complete your final skills test with an FT Core Educator within 6 months of completion of the 2-day in-person portion.

Deposit / Online Education Expense*

Upon completion of this application Foundation Training will require a $1000 USD transferable deposit to reserve your space and cover the cost of the online education portion. Space is limited and applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Deposit Transfer*

All deposits are transferable to a future in-person event with no penalty.

Final Payment*

Final payment must be made prior to the first day of the in-person event.

Cancellation & Refunds*

Refund of the final payment, less any merchant processing fees, will be provided if a request is sent in writing to [email protected] at least seven (7) days prior to the event start date. No refunds will be given for the initial $1000 deposit once the online education program has been accessed.

Instructor Agreement*

You will be required to a sign an instructor agreement before beginning the program.

Intellectual Property*

All materials provided during the instructor certification program are the intellectual property of Foundation Training. Materials should not be reproduced or used in any other way without prior written consent from Foundation Training. You cannot create a competing program, including but not limited to, video instruction such as is seen on the FT streaming platform and/or teacher training such as is done in the Foundation Instructor Certification Program.
